Maple Old-Fashioned


2 oz Ironclad Bourbon

¾ oz bourbon-barrel aged maple syrup

5 dashes Regan’s orange bitters

Stir with ice, and then strain over ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lemon peel and a cherry.

Ironclad Manhattan


2 oz Ironclad Bourbon

3/4 oz premium sweet vermouth

1 dash Angostura Bitters

1 dash Peychaud’s Bitters

Stir over ice, serve neat. Garnish with a cherry.

K.K.'s Sazerac


1 1/2 oz Ironclad Bourbon

3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters

Demerara sugar cube

Absinthe or Pernod

Muddle sugar cube with a few drops of water, and then stir with bourbon, bitters and ice. 
Serve neat in a glass in which you have rolled around absinthe to thoroughly coat. 
Garnish with a lemon peel and cherry.

Horse's Neck


1 1/2 oz Ironclad Bourbon

3 dashes Angostura Bitters or Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters

Good quality ginger beer

Fresh lime

Build in the glass with ice. Top with the ginger beer and a squeeze of lime. Garnish with a lime slice.

The Whiskey Sour


1 1/2 oz Ironclad Bourbon

1 oz lemon juice

1/2 oz agave nectar

1 heaping tsp orange marmalade

3 dashes Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters

1 fresh egg white (optional)

Shake this one three times: First dry shake it (without ice), then wet shake it (with ice),  finally fine strain the liquid before giving it another dry shake. Serve neat and garnish with a cherry.

Iron Julep


2 oz Ironclad Bourbon

1/2 oz grapefruit oleo saccharum

6 mint leaves

3 dashes Angostura bitters

Muddle mint in a julep cup. Stir with crushed ice, top with freshly grated nutmeg. Garnish with a big mint sprig.
